Annual Winter 10-day Dzogchen Center Retreat with Lama Surya Das, Charles Genoud and Lama John Makransky January 2nd - 11th, 2004

Garrison Institute, Garrison, New York (one hour from New York City)

The teachings enable retreatants to connect directly with the age-old tradition of Dzogchen -- our own nature, effortlessly unveiled as the original source and ultimate resolution of all that appears to us. This is a silent meditation retreat, with three teachings and individual and group practice periods scheduled throughout each day. Three vegetarian meals will be provided per day and plenty of spare time available for nature walks and reflection

LAMA SURYA DAS is the author of the new book, Letting Go of The Person You Used To Be: Lessons on Change, Loss, and Spiritual Transformation. He is also the author of the Awakening Trilogy (Awakening the Buddha Within, Awakening to the Sacred, and Awakening the Buddhist Heart). Lama Surya Das is a lineage holder of the Dzogchen Lineage of Tibetan Buddhism in the rimé (nonsectarian) tradition. For over thirty years, including more than eight years in secluded retreat, he studied and practiced with the great masters of Tibetan Buddhism.
