Something of Incomparable Value: Teachings of the Lotus Sutra

The very title of the Lotus Sutra hints at the theme of our intrinsic value (the precious lotus), which grows out of the mud of human struggle and weakness. The story of Devadatta and the story of the Dragon Girl point us to the possibility of our own liberation.

Zen Teacher Enkyo O'Hara of the Village Zendo in Manhattan will offer teachings from chapters 12 and 13 of this profound sutra.

Location: Shambhala Meditation Center of New York 118 West 22nd Street, 6th floor New York, NY 10011 212-675-6544 nyshambhala@shambhala.org http://ny.shambhala.org
